More Doodlebug "Issues"

I'm back with another Doodlebug project...I just can't get enough of them!  I created this a few weeks ago using a Lori Whitlock Silhouette file for the shadowbox frame.  Can you believe this entire project is made from paper???  I'm still amazed at how sturdy it is!

I used Doodlebug's Stars and Stripes collection to showcase these pictures of my daughter at the Chatham, MA 4th of July parade back in 2000.  We go every year...it's quite the event!

The little flags were cut from the Stars and Stripes Paper.  I glued them to a couple of pins to make my own 3d embellishment.

The banner is made up of stickers from the Fancy Frills sticker sheet.  I attached them to the shadowbox using some Denim twine from The Twinery.

I loved the little fire cracker Doodle pop sticker!  I decided to stitch some fire works to go with it.

The balloons are attached with some more Twinery Twine in Denim, Shore and Maraschino.

Back to Lori Whitlock's silhouette files for the July 4th "title" piece to complete the look!  That's it for today...don't forget to link up your projects featuring Doodlebug or Fruit to the current issue over at Paper Issues!!!  And stop by the Paper Issues store to see what's new.  You can use my code KATHYS to get 20% off!!!

Thanks for stopping by!!! I appreciate your comments!
