More Twine Madness!

Hi Everyone, I'm back with another project for the Anything Goes Twine Madness Challenge at The Twinery.

I recently converted our former "toy room"  into a craft room/guest room.  I guess you say it's technically still a "toy room"  just crafty toys!  Anyway, the walls are newly painted and bare.  They screamed for something!  I decided I'd try to decorate them myself.  This framed piece is my first one...we'll see how long it takes me to do more...

Coffee is one of my life's necessities...so I decided to celebrate it with a fun piece of art!  I used some Amy Tangerine Ready Set Go for the background.  I added some Mister Huey splops for color.  The cups are made from the new Limba wood grain card stock that is available at Paper Issues.  The texture is fabulous!  I adorned the cups with some Amy Tangerine Yes, Please! and the covers are from the American Crafts My Girl line.   The colors go perfectly with the grey hue of my walls.

I attached a piece of Solid Strawberry Twine in the groves of the frame to complete the project...I thought it made the whole piece pop a bit more.  It's amazing what a simple element can do for a whole project!!

Be sure to link up your project to our Twine Madness Challenge.  You could win this FABULOUS prize!  You can find all the details here!

Thanks for stopping by and as always I appreciate your comments!

  1. This is so cool! I always love looking at wall art creations, and dream of making them myself...but never get around to it, lol :) I love that you added a piece of twine around the frame. It really does pop!
