Right at Home Scrapbooking: July Mood Board Inspired PL Cards

Hi Everyone...I have some fun Project Life cards today that were inspired by the July Mood Board at Right at Home Scrapbooking.  Take a peek at the Board....
And here are the cards I put together using Pink Paislee's Pen Pals collection.

My 4th Card was created using the Stitched Journaling Card from Lawn Fawn as the base.  I added some stars to the background and finished it off with some Lawn Fawn Louie's ABCs & 123s.The Happy was stamped using Lawn Fawn Clark's ABCs stamps on a piece of vellum.

My Hello Summer Card was created using the Large Stitched journaling card also from Lawn Fawn.  I decorated it with a Polaroid frame & Flip flops I cut with my Silhouette.  The Sun, Hello and stamps are also Lawn Fawn.

That's it for today...Thanks for stopping by!

Paper Issues: Say Cheese Issue

Hi Everyone...just a quick post to share the card I created for Paper Issues latest issue, Say Cheese, sponsored by Maya Road.

I LOVE Maya Road Chipboard pieces.  You can do so many things with them.  For my card I covered them with some fun Doodlebug Designs Sugar Shoppe Papers, and also painted some with some Smooch.  They hold up to just about anything!!  Have you linked up to our latest Issue???  We're looking for projects that:
  • Use camera embellishments.
  • Showcase a favorite photo.
  • Think about using "Say Cheese" as a title.
  • Do you have any photos featuring cheesy smiles? Let's see 'em!
  • Add Polaroid-style frames to your project.
  • Share a project featuring Instagram, Polaroid or vintage photos.
  • Tell us about the silly things your kids (nieces, nephews, grandchildren, etc.) say.
  • Use Maya Road products.
Make sure you link back to Paper Issues too!  You could win a fun goodie bag from Maya Road.  That's it for me today.  I'll be back tomorrow with some fun summer PL cards I created for Right at Home!

Doodlebug Designs: Chevron Sugar Coated Cardstock

Hi Everyone, I'm up on the Doodlebug Design blog today with a fun layout featuring Chevron Sugar Coated Cardstock.  I love the glittery effect it adds to a project!  Here's what I came up with:

This quote has always been a favorite, and worked perfectly with the sparkle factor in the Chevron Sugar Coated Cardstock ... and this silly selfie of my daughter.  I used a number of thin dies from Sizzix and MFT and my Big Shot to cut hearts from the cardstock.  I love how the colors coordinate perfectly with the Sugar Shoppe papers!

For my title, I couldn't resist mixing and matching Doodlebug Alphas and I HAD to use the Bubblegum Shin-Dig Sugar Coated Alphas!

To complete my layout, I added some Doodlebug Sequins and stitched with some silver thread for a little more bling!  That's it for me today.  Thanks for stopping by.

Right at Home Scrapbooking: July Mood Board

Hi Everyone...just a quick post to share the layout I created using the July Mood Board from Right at Home Scrapbooking as inspiration.  The colors are perfect for summery layouts!  Take a peek at the Mood Board:
and here's my layout:

I love these pictures of my daughter and her friend in "London" at Epcot last summer.  They fell in love with the telephone booth!  I got Pink Paislee's Pen Pals collection to work with...  the color combos are great and the ephemera pack is full of goodies!  I used one of the tags from the pack as a backdrop for my title. The little Hello clip is from Maya Road.

And of course I had to use more of the Ephemera pack to create clusters of embellies!!  That's it for today, I'll be back soon with a Doodlebug project and more Mood Board Inspiration from Right at Home!  Thanks for stopping by!

A Summer Lawn Fawn Mini

Hi Everyone!  I wanted to share a fun mini album I created to showcase some pictures from my upcoming vacation!  We're heading to the Florida Keys later this summer and I wanted to have something ready to go to hold all the pictures I plan on taking!!  Take a peek!

I used mostly Lawn Fawn goodies, including the Life is Good stamps and dies and some Let's Polka papers.  I thought the colors were perfect for my tropical vacation!

The camera album shape was adapted from a Lori Whitlock shaker cut file found in the Silhouette store here.  The cloud is made from some Doodlebug Sprinkles vellum and the sequins are also from Doodlebug.  I'm not usually a stamper...but the Life is good stamps are just too cute!

For my inside pages, I used the Lawn Fawn Large Stitched Journaling Card.  I kept them simple, just adding some stamped images and die cuts to each page.  I used some 4x6 album sleeves from We R to hold them.

I know I'll end up adding more pages as I go along, but the good thing is it's easy to do!  That's it for me today...I have lots of goodies in the works...will be updating again soon!!!  Thanks for stopping by!

The papers are from My Mind's Eye Cut and Paste Charm collection.  I thought they were perfect for this picture of my husband on vacation.  Didn't think I was going to be able to get him to come back home!  The title was cut from a Kerri Bradford file.  That's it for today...I'll be back with some Doodlebug & Right at Home Projects later in the week!

Doodlebug Design: Pocket Life using Treat Bags

Hi Everyone,I have a fun Pocket Life layout using some Doodlebug Treat Bags.  I love Doodlebug's Treat Bags...they're so fun and colorful!  And like all Doodlebug products, they coordinate beautifully with a number of collections!   I chose to work with the Limeade Chevron & Swimming Pool Gingham bags.  They're a perfect match for Doodlebug's Day to Day collection.  Here's my PL spread featuring some silly photo booth pictures my daughter and her friends took at their Sophomore Ring Dance.

I love all the fun stickers from the Day to Day collection!  I decided to make some photo booth "props" using the stickers and some of the pixies from the collection.

Here's a peek at more of my cards...

It's sad that they're so shy, right?  My new favorite thing is shakers...I created a fun shaker using a cut out frame from the Doodlebug Simply Put cards, some vellum and some Doodlebug Sequins.

For my final card, I used the Limeade Chevron Treat bag as a tag holder.  I listed the "cast of characters" on the tag.  The bag is perfect for hidden journaling!

That's it for me today, I'll be back tomorrow with a layout I created for Right at Home Scrapbooking!  Thanks for stopping by!
