New Year's Eve Photo Props

Hi Everyone!  Today I have some fun photo props to help make your New Year's Celebrations even more fun!  I created these using SVG files from Lori Whitlock's SVG Shop.  Take a peek...

How fun are these??  I created them using some Gold and Silver Cardstock, a little bling, and some wood dowels I bought at my local craft store.  Here are some close-ups...

And what fun would photo props be if we didn't use them??  Luckily my daughter humors me and agreed to model them all!

That's it for me today!  I hope you all have a Happy, Healthy and Safe New Year!

Christmas Photo Props

Hi Everyone! Today I have some fun Christmas Party Photo props to share with you!  This past weekend I hosted the Annual Kelley Family Christmas Party... and because preparing for a house full of guests wasn't keeping me busy enough, I decided to make these fun props using the Christmas Photo Props cut file from Kolette Hall.  They are available in the Lori Whitlock SVG shop, as well as the Silhouette Store.  I made them using papers, card stock and embellies from Doodlebug Design.  Take a peek...

And because this post wouldn't be any fun if I didn't post the props in use...

It's really to bad that everyone was so shy, right??  We really had a lot of laughs with these... if you have some time before you next holiday party, I highly recommend putting some of these together!!  That's it for me today, thanks for stopping by and have a very Merry Christmas!

Lori Whitlock: Gift Card Booklet

Hi Everyone!  I'm up on the Lori Whitlock Blog today with a fun gift card holder.  Every year I give my daughter a few gift cards to her favorite places... for coffee, restaurants, shops... it has become one of her favorite gifts!  I used Lori's Build an Album String Tie Envelope (here in the Silhouette Store) and some Doodlebug Design Sugarplums collection to create my little booklet.  Take a peek:

I tied 5 of the envelopes together with some twine to form my booklet.  I then went to work decorating each one!

Each envelope has an insert.  I attached the gift cards to the inserts using some fun Christmas Washi tapes from Doodlebug.

I love how it all turned out and can't wait to give it to my daughter!  That's it for me today, thanks for stopping by to peek!

Doodlebug Design: Slam Dunk!

Hi Everyone, today I have a layout featuring the new Slam Dunk Collection from Doodlebug Design.  We are not basketball players in my family... too short, but luckily my friend Jen Boumis let me use these ADORABLE pictures of her little girl and husband playing in their driveway!  Take a peek...

Ever time I look at these pictures, I smile!  I love that Slam Dunk is versatile enough to scrap anything from a pick up game, to more organized games...the stickers and the patterns make it easy!

That's it for me today.  Make sure to stop by the Doodlebug Design blog over the next couple of weeks for more Slam Dunk inspiration from the team!

Lori Whitlock: Do You Want to Build a Snowman?

Hi Everyone!  I was up on the Lori Whitlock Blog yesterday with a tutorial on how to build this adorable Snowman Gift Box "tower."

I used a few of Lori's files including the 3D Scalloped Party Favor Box  (here in the Silhouette Store), the Square Gift Box with Bow  (here in Silhouette Store) and the Snowman Pocket Gift Card Holder (here in Silhouette Store)  to build and embellish my snowman.

The most fun part, you can fill each of the four boxes with gifts and goodies!  This would make a great gift for a friend, hostess or teacher!  Head over to Lori's blog here to see the full tutorial.  That's it for me today, thanks for stopping by!

Paper Issues: December Off the Page Challenge

Hi Everyone!  I'm up on the Paper Issues Blog today with the December Off the Page Challenge!  This month, as you can probably guess, is all about the holidays!  We're looking for Christmas/Hanukkah decorations, Ornaments, centerpieces, home décor, fun gift packaging.  Are you doing a December Daily?  That counts too! Basically anything you've created with paper, for the holidays that isn't a traditional scrapbook page counts!  Post pictures of your Off the Page projects in the December Challenges Album in the Paper Issues Friends & Fans Facebook Group to be eligible for our monthly prize, one of 2 $10 Gift Cards to the Paper Issues Store!

I always say I'm going to do a December Daily, and then it becomes overwhelming and I don't do it.  This year, I thought why commit to something daily, I'm going to #RememberDecember and do a December Memories album.  Basically it's what pictures I took, that I want to remember.  No need to post something daily, just a nice place to keep my favorite memories!  I also thought it would be fun to incorporate the latest #ISpywithPI prompts!

I used Pink Paislee's Yuletide Collection which is available in the Paper Issues Store.  The colors are great and I LOVE the Ephemera!!  I just added some gold stitching to make it sparkle a little!

I plan on doing one or two pages every day or so.  I just want to keep things simple with a few papers and embellishments per page.  That way it won't become overwhelming and it's something I can work on in a short period of time.  Did you notice the fun hashtags?? I created a Silhouette cut file with all of the #ISpyWithPI #RememberDecember prompts.  It is available to download here in the Free Files section of the Paper Issues Store!

I also created a cut file for my album.  This is also be available in the Free Files Section here!

That's it for me today, thanks for stopping by to peek!

Doodlebug Design: Home Run Collection

Hi Everyone! Today I have a layout featuring the new Home Run Collection from Doodlebug Design.  This is such a fun collection that can be used for everything from a visit to a Major League game to a pick up game in the neighborhood.  I used it to scrap these pictures of my daughter playing in the front yard from back in 2004... take a peek...

The colors and patterns in the Home Run Collection are great,  They are so easy to mix and match!  I also LOVE the chain link pattern on the Backstop paper!  The stickers are fun too.. love the Baseball Doodle Pop!

I added a little tag to my layout and topped it off with some new Chunky Twine in Ladybug... the Chunky twine is awesome!

My title was created using some Ladybug Chippers and a Sprinkles Shape Baseball for the dot in my exclamation point.  I just couldn't resist!  Make sure to stop by the Doodlebug blog all this week and next for more Home Run inspiration!  That's it for me today, thanks for stopping by!
