Doodlebug Design: Puppy Love

Hi Everyone! Today I have a fun layout I created using the new Puppy Love Collection from Doodlebug Design.  My good friend recently got a new puppy.  I was lucky enough to get to "puppy-sit" a few times.  I'm not sure who had more fun, me or Miss Lola.  Of course I had to take lots of pictures...

As soon as I saw the tile letters on the It's a Dog's Life paper, I knew I wanted to use them!  I combined the puppy tiles with some Ladybug Chippers for my title.

The Sparky Doodlepop was too cute to resist!

I also love the words from the This and That Sticker Sheet, I love to cluster them with other stickers!

Make sure to keep checking the blog for more Puppy Love inspiration.  That's it for me, thanks for stopping by to peek!

Doodlebug Design: Kitten Smitten

Hi Everyone!  Today I have a couple of layouts I created using the ADORABLE new Kitten Smitten Collection from Doodlebug Design!   I completely embrace my Crazy Cat Lady persona, so this is the perfect collection for me!  I started out making a layout featuring my sweet boy Jax.  We adopted him a few months ago, and he quickly acquired multiple nicknames...

We never call our cats by their real names... The moment we saw him, he reminded us of Toothless from How to Train Your Dragon.  Other names quickly followed...

The new Odds & Ends are my all time favorite embellishments.  They are so fun to scatter around a layout!  I also LOVE the new Kitty Clips!

After completing this layout, I felt guilty about not scrapping our other fur baby (like I said, Crazy Cat Lady) ... so I made a second layout, using the same general form, but upside-down.  Rosie is just the sweetest kitty with the best temperament.  She truly is a Squishy Kitty.

The words on the This and That Sticker Sheet perfectly describe my sweet girl!

I love mixing and matching alphas... I used Chippers, Skinny Type and Teensy Type letters on each of my layouts.  I have so many more plans for this collection!  Be sure to stop by the Doodlebug Blog for more Kitten Smitten inspiration, you'll be glad you did!

Paper Issues: July Off the Page Challenge

It's time for the July Off the Page Challenge over in the Paper Issues Friends and Fans Facebook Group!  This month's challenge is all about summer and summer celebrations! We are looking for all of your paper projects with a summer theme... 4th of July, Canada Day, patriotic & military welcome home/send off parties, pool party, picnic, beach theme...  Invitations, cards, favors, banners, gifts, décor... any paper project that isn't a traditional layout will work!   For my project, I used the 3D USA Décor Blocks from the Lori Whitlock SVG Shop.

I thought these were so cute, and although they were done for the 4th of July, I can see them sitting on my shelf all year long!  I used some Pebbles America the Beautiful papers which are available in the Paper Issues Store!

Be sure to play along with this challenge by posting your project in the July Challenges Album in the  Paper Issues Friends and Fans Facebook Group in the comments under this project.  Each project posted will give you an entry to win a $10 Gift Card to the Paper Issues Store!  You have until August 1st to enter!  I can't wait to see what you create!

Lori Whitlock: New Sizzix Dies

Hi Everyone! Today I have a fun 4th of July Party set I created using Lori's Whitlock's new Sizzix Dies! Take a peek...

I started with the new Hello Doily Sizzix Thinlets Set to make my banner. I simply layered two of the doilies and folded them over a piece of twine to create the banner. It would be so cute in a doorway or along a table edge!

Next I set together to make some fun serving items. I used the oh so versatile Mix and Match Flowers Thinlets to decorate some serving items including the napkin holder, the bucket and Straw...

The label on the milk bottle is from the new Perfect Labels Thinlets Set, I thought it would be good to let folks label their drinks to keep the bottles from getting mixed up! The butterflies on both the bottle and the bucket can be found in the Butterfly Lantern Thinlets Set. I think this might be my favorite set! Check out the adorable little lantern you can make using it!

You can fit a tiny electronic tea light into the lantern, to light up your night time table! That's it for me today, make sure to check out all of Lori's Sizzix Dies over on the Sizzix Website here. You won't be disappointed!

Papers Used:

Echo Park Pinstripes
