MFT & Friends July Layout

Just a quick post before I head off to teach the MFT & Friends Workshop at Right at Home Scrapbooking.  This month we're playing with some Echo Park Happy Camper and the new MFT Triangle Die namics.

This picture makes me laugh every time I see it.  Yes, that is me, circa 1974 fishing at my grandmother's pond with my pocket fisherman... I can here the K-tel infomercial now.... (If you've never seen it, or are just too's the original commercial.)
I used the MFT Triangle Die namics to create my fish.  Who knew you could put sequins on a fishing layout and have it "work?"

I "tied" it all together with some fishing line and a hook created using the new Solid Honeydew and Solid Cappuccino twines from The Twinery.  OK, I'm done with the puns now.  I'll be back later this week with some more to teach!  Thanks for stopping by.

  1. So cute Kathy!! I love the grid design you created with the patterned paper and those fish are so fun!

  2. How clever are those fish with the air bubbles!!! Love them!! Love the line with the hook too!

  3. Saw this IRL at the store - very cute!!!

Thanks so much for your comments, they are much appreciated!
