Doodlebug Design: Santa Express December Daily & a Free Cut File!

Hi I'm sharing my first-ever December Daily mini album made with Doodlebug Design's new Santa Express!  I've always been a bit intimidated by the thought of taking on a December Daily, but the this collection made it so easy!  I started out with a Doodlebug Plain & Simple Chipboard Album.  I love how the pages are all different!  To cover the pages, I scanned them, then uploaded the scan file to Silhouette.  From there, I traced the images to get the outline.  This allowed me to cut the perfect size/shape covers!  No scissors, no trimming!  It also allowed me to create a few extra pages using Doodlebug Textured Cardstock so that I had enough pages in the book. I then went to work decorating!

Don't you LOVE the Holly Berries Sprinkles Shapes??!!!!

Doodlebug's Doilies were a fun addition to the album as well...the colors are perfect!

I created a tie envelope using Lily White Sprinkles Vellum.  I plan on putting some cookie recipe cards inside! (I make cookies every year for the neighbors!)  Of course I embellished it with some cute Gingerbread people!

The Limeade Chevron Treat bag worked perfectly with Santa Express too!  I used one to create a pocket for a journaling tag.

I also created an ornament shaker and filled it with some coordinating Doodlebug Sequins!

I will say that my album came together MUCH quicker than I expected, and I'm really happy with the results!  And now for a freebie for you!  I created a cut file for all of the number flags in my book, and would love to share it.  Click here to download your copy!  That's it for me today.  Thanks for stopping by!
