Some Lawn Fawn Fun

Hi Everyone... 4 posts in a row... must be a record!  Today I have a fun little gift set I created for a Bridal Shower I attended recently.  I played with some Lawn Fawn Let's Polka Mon Amie papers and Happy Wedding Stamps and Dies to create this ...

The bag was cut using Lori Whitlock's 3D Purse files.  The bow is the 3D Large Gift Package Bow by Jaime Cripps.

I used my new Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers to paint the cake... I love these markers!  If you haven't seen them, they are brush markers filled with water color.  They are so easy to use, and I love the results!  Well, that's it for me today, thanks for stopping by!

Lori Whitlock: A Purr-fect Mini Album

Hi Everyone!  Wow, no posts for a couple of weeks, now three in a row!!  Today I'm up on the Lori Whitlock Blog with a new way to use one of her fun files!  As soon as I saw Lori's Gift Tag Set, I thought it would make the perfect mini album!  The tags are the perfect size for smaller pictures... especially the fun new ones I printed using my Instax Printer!!  Take a peek...

The Gift Tag Set comes with a cute little box and a cut file for the tags.  I decorated the box with pieces from Lori's Cat Belly Box, and then cut 5 of the tags using Bella Blvd.'s Riley Collection to be the pages of my album.  I added some Instax Pictures of my two trouble makers and some fun stickers and elements from the Riley collection for each page.  Here are some close-ups of the pages.

Here's a look at everything together.  To hold the pages together, I used a book ring, decorated with some fun coordinating ribbons.

It all went together so quickly!  I think this would be perfect for a little gift album!  That's it for me today, thanks for stopping by!

Doodlebug Design: Doodlebug & Pagemaps Team-up!

Hi Everyone!  Today I have  a fun layout based on a fabulous sketch by Becky Fleck over at PageMaps!  The members of the Doodlebug Design Team were asked to be guest designers for the July PageMaps Newsletter... this was right up my alley, Becky's sketches are a favorite!  Here's the sketch she sent...

And here's my take... I used papers from the new SunKissed Collection and some Petite Prints as well...

In place of the tag on the left, I used a Doodlebug Tangerine Doily.

Otherwise I kept pretty much to the sketch with title and embellishment placement.  I love how it all came together!

Be sure to check the Doodlebug Design Blog to see more Doodlebug & PageMaps inspiration from the Design Team!  That's it for me today, thanks for stopping by!

Doodlebug Design: Doodlebug & Sizzix

Hi Everyone!  Today I have  a fun layout I created featuring Doodlebug Dies & a Textured Impressions Embossing folder created by Sizzix!  Take a peek...

I started with the Eyelet Lace and Scallops Decorative Strip Sizzlet Die to frame the main part of my layout.  It's just like the border stickers you find on some of the Doodlebug Fancy Frills!

I used the Tiny Flowers Embossing Folder to create some textured mats for my photo. I love the dimension the mats add!  They also coordinate perfectly with the Darling Daisies Paper from the Easter Parade Collection!

I finished off my layout using the flower dies from both the Flower, Rainbow & Sun and the Cloud, Flower, Rain & Umbrella Thinlits sets as well as the tag from the Notebook, Tag & Ticket Dies & Stamps set for my journaling.  I used papers from the Petite Prints Collection and some Glitter Sprinkles for the flowers.  I love how everything coordinates perfectly!  Make sure to stop by both the Doodlebug Blog and the Sizzix Blog for more inspiration and see how you can win some great prizes!  Thanks for stopping by!

Doodlebug Design: 4th of July Layout

Hi Everyone, Happy 4th of July!  To celebrate, I have a layout I created for Doodlebug Design featuring the Patriotic Picnic collection.  Take a peek....

These pictures are from back in 2005 at the Chatham, MA 4th of July Parade... an annual event for us!

I love the "grid" look and decided to feature my photos on 4x4 squares... with some embellishment of course!  The new word stickers on the This and That Sticker sheets are my favorite!

I made some flags by folding a couple of the banner stickers around some stick pins...

For my title, I cut a square from the 4th of July Double Sided Cardstock and embellished it with a few stickers.  Such a fun memory!  That's it for me today, thanks for stopping by!
