Paper Issues: Scraplift Sunday

Hi Everyone!  Today I have a layout I created for the Scrap-lift Sunday Challenge over at Paper Issues Friends and Fans Facebook Group.   The layout we were given to lift was by Janet Grzanka-Dlugokenski can be seen here on the Paper Issues Blog.  Here's my take on it...

This is Jax.  Jax feels the need to be the center of attention at all times.  If you are sitting on the couch, you should be playing with him.  I loved the big picture in Janet's layout and couldn't resist using this one.  I used a couple of different collections for my layout.  I started with Meow from Echo Park.  I love the colors and patterns, they are so cute!  I added some stickers etc. from Bella Blvd.'s Riley Collection.

I finished everything off with a cute little flair button from The Paper Bakery.  That's it for me today!  If you're looking for inspiration, be sure to stop by the Paper Issues Friends & Fans Facebook group and check out all of the challenges happening!  Thanks for stopping by to peek!

Lori Whitlock: A Purr-fect Mini Album

Hi Everyone!  Wow, no posts for a couple of weeks, now three in a row!!  Today I'm up on the Lori Whitlock Blog with a new way to use one of her fun files!  As soon as I saw Lori's Gift Tag Set, I thought it would make the perfect mini album!  The tags are the perfect size for smaller pictures... especially the fun new ones I printed using my Instax Printer!!  Take a peek...

The Gift Tag Set comes with a cute little box and a cut file for the tags.  I decorated the box with pieces from Lori's Cat Belly Box, and then cut 5 of the tags using Bella Blvd.'s Riley Collection to be the pages of my album.  I added some Instax Pictures of my two trouble makers and some fun stickers and elements from the Riley collection for each page.  Here are some close-ups of the pages.

Here's a look at everything together.  To hold the pages together, I used a book ring, decorated with some fun coordinating ribbons.

It all went together so quickly!  I think this would be perfect for a little gift album!  That's it for me today, thanks for stopping by!

Paper Issues: Crazy Daisy

Hi Everyone!  Today I have a layout I created for the challenge at the Paper Issues Scrap & Chat last Friday night.  It was a great challenge! Your project needed to include an item from your stash for each letter in the word SCRAP.  These were the options...

S-Silhouette, Scraps, Sew, Stars, Stamp
C-Crate Paper, Car, Camera, Chipboard, Camping
R-Red, Rub on, Ribbon, Rainbow, Rounded corners
A-Ampersand, American Crafts, Alphas, Arrow, Airplane
P-Paint, Puffy stickers, Project Life, Patterned paper, PI Printable

Here's my take... my challenge items were:  S - Scraps, C - chipboard, R - red, A - arrow, P - patterned paper

I used lots of goodies from Bella Blvd.'s Riley Collection to highlight some silly pictures of my kitty Daisy.  This is such a fun collection... perfect for the crazy cat ladies out there!

I love a good grid design!  It allows you to showcase lots of goodies.  If you missed out on the June Scrap & Chat... don't worry, the July Scrap & Chat has tentatively been scheduled for July 31st!  Look for details upcoming in the Paper Issues Friends & Fans Facebook Group!  There will be one challenge, one game, prizes and lots of chatting!  That's it for me today, thanks for stopping by!
