Lori Whitlock: Sneak Peek

Hi Everyone! I have a sneak peek at a new file that will be available tomorrow in the Lori Whitlock SVG shop and the Silhouette Store. This 3d Backpack is just so cute and would make a great back to school gift for the kids (and teachers!) in your life!

I put together a quick tutorial showing how to assemble this new file, so you'll be all set once it hits the shop! I used Lori's Celebrate Spring and Celebrate Easter Collections for Echo Park Paper.  To see the full tutorial head over to Lori's Blog here.

Such a cute way to package up a little back to school gift!  That's it for me today, thanks for stopping by to peek!

Doodlebug Design: Odds & Ends Challenge

Hi Everyone!  It's today I'm up on the Doodlebug Blog with my Odds & Ends Challenge project.  I will admit, it really wasn't much of a challenge to find a way to make these adorable embellishments the focus of a project!  They are just so cute, they really do all the work for you!  I decided to make a few (well OK, it turned into 12) cards using some Odds & Ends and some punny sentiments...  take a peek...

I really had to stop myself from making more.  I combined the Odds & Ends from the At the Zoo, Fairy Tales, Cream & Sugar, Kitten Smitten and Fun in the Sun Collections, with some Gingham Linen Petite Prints to make the cards!  The cards are a simple A2 size and the white mat was cut using Lawn Fawn's Large Cross Stitched Rectangle Dies.   The sentiments, well, I can't resist a good pun!

Here are some close-ups of the cards...

These went together really quickly.    I love that I now have a bunch of cards to send out when needed!  Be sure to stop by the Doodlebug Blog for more Odds & Ends inspiration from the design team!  That's it for me today, thank you for stopping by to peek!

Doodlebug Design: July PageMaps Sketch

Hi Everyone!  Today I have a layout I created for the Doodlebug Design/PageMaps Sketch Challenge Layout! Members of the Doodlebug Design Team were all given great sketches to play with from the July PageMaps release.   I received this fabulous sketch from Becky Fleck...

I had a lot of fun with this sketch.  I found this picture of my daughter and friends in front of their freshman dorm, and couldn't resist using some At the Zoo papers and embellishments to scrap it!  Take a peek...

I just adore the little critters in this collection.  I used a whole bunch of them from the Icons Sticker Sheets and the word stickers from the This and That Sticker Sheet are always a favorite!

I finished it all off with a fun mixed alpha title using some Teensy Type Letters and the "wild" stickers from the At the Zoo Icons Stickers..  Be sure to check the Doodlebug Blog  for more PageMaps Inspiration from the last 2 weeks!  That's it for me today, thanks for stopping by to peek!

Doodlebug Design: Yankee Doodle Project

Hi Everyone!   I always love the Doodlebug Design patriotic collections and Yankee Doodle does not disappoint!  As soon as I saw it, I knew what I was going to make... take a peek...

These 3-D Letters are from Lori Whitlock's SVG Shop.  I used some of the fun patterned papers to form the base of the letters and the decorative panels.  I then embellished them using some of the Odds & Ends and Shaped Sprinkles.  Here are some close-ups...

My favorite parts of the Yankee Doodle Collection are the silver accents... they add just the right touch of shine!

The new Yankee Doodle Patriotic Posies Shaped Sprinkes are just too cute!

And the acetate Odds & Ends are the perfect embellishments!  I just loved the fire works!  This collection is perfect for the 4th of July projects, military projects and even everyday celebrations!   Stop by the Doodlebug Design blog  for more Yankee Doodle Inspiration!  That's it for me today, thanks for stopping by to peek!
