Paper Issues: Crazy Daisy

Hi Everyone!  Today I have a layout I created for the challenge at the Paper Issues Scrap & Chat last Friday night.  It was a great challenge! Your project needed to include an item from your stash for each letter in the word SCRAP.  These were the options...

S-Silhouette, Scraps, Sew, Stars, Stamp
C-Crate Paper, Car, Camera, Chipboard, Camping
R-Red, Rub on, Ribbon, Rainbow, Rounded corners
A-Ampersand, American Crafts, Alphas, Arrow, Airplane
P-Paint, Puffy stickers, Project Life, Patterned paper, PI Printable

Here's my take... my challenge items were:  S - Scraps, C - chipboard, R - red, A - arrow, P - patterned paper

I used lots of goodies from Bella Blvd.'s Riley Collection to highlight some silly pictures of my kitty Daisy.  This is such a fun collection... perfect for the crazy cat ladies out there!

I love a good grid design!  It allows you to showcase lots of goodies.  If you missed out on the June Scrap & Chat... don't worry, the July Scrap & Chat has tentatively been scheduled for July 31st!  Look for details upcoming in the Paper Issues Friends & Fans Facebook Group!  There will be one challenge, one game, prizes and lots of chatting!  That's it for me today, thanks for stopping by!

Doodlebug Design: Alphabet Challenge

Hi Everyone!  Today I have a layout for Doodlebug Design... The ladies on the Design Team were asked to feature one or more of Doodlebug's fabulous alphabets in a project.  I LOVE mixing and matching the different Doodlebug Alphabets so this was right up my alley!  Here's what I created.

Yes, I am a crazy cat lady.  This is my girl Rosie...aka Squishy Kitty.  She is just the sweetest kitty!  We are always singing the "Soft Kitty" song around here (LOVE Big Bang Theory!!) and I thought it was the perfect title for my project!

I used a combination of Doodlebug Chippers and some Teensy Type letters  (in Lily White, Bubblegum, Bumblebee, Tangerine and Swimming Pool) for my title.  The papers and stickers are from the Sugar Shoppe Collection.

I couldn't resist adding a new Mini Doily in Swimming Pool and some Glitter Sprinkles!!  Well that's it for me today.  Be sure to check the Doodlebug Blog for all of the Alphabet Challenge projects. Thanks for stopping by!

Paper Issues: June Pinspire-Me Board

Hi Everyone!  There's a new Pinspire Me board up at Paper Issues... it's full of bright & cheery summer images!  Take a peek:
And here's my "Pinspired" Card....

As soon as I saw the board I thought of Doodlebug Design's SunKissed Collection!  I used some papers from the SunKissed 6x6 pad and an Ice Cream Cone from the Summer Treats Craft Kit to make a "sweet" Birthday Card!  The sentiment is from Lawn Fawn's Baked With Love Stamp set.
If you're looking for some summer scrappy goodies, make sure to stop by the Paper Issues Store!  Use code KATHYS for a 20% discount on your whole order!

That's it for me today!  Head on over to the Paper Issues Friends and Fan group on Facebook to link up your Pinspired project!  Thanks for stopping by!

Doodlebug Design: One for the Guys....

Hi Everyone! Today, I have a fun, masculine themed layout using some goodies from Doodlebug Design.  Even though we are a household of mainly girls (me, my daughter, both cats....) I wanted to show how Doodlebug can be used for the guys in our life... even the big boys!  Take a peek....

I'm sure my husband will be thrilled that I scrapped these pictures, but I couldn't resist.  Anytime he pulls out his laptop, our kitty Daisy stalks him until he sits down, then she proceeds to make herself comfortable, no matter how inconvenient it might be.  It's hysterical.  The papers, border stickers and Washi are from the Hip Hip Hooray collection.  I also used stickers from the Take Note collection.  I love how easy it is to mix and match collections!

My title was created using a combination of Doodlebug Chippers (in Swimming Pool & Limeade), some Skinny Cardstock Stickers (in Bumblebee) and some Limeade Glitter Sprinkles.

I love the combination of Swimming Pool, Limeade Tangerine & Bumblebee... it's perfect for the boys, both big and small, in our lives!  That's it for me today, thanks for stopping by!

Lori Whitlock: Playing with Vinyl

Hi Everyone!  I was up on the Lori Whitlock blog yesterday with a fun tutorial using Permanent Adhesive Vinyl!  I recently found the cutest polka-dot Vinyl at Expressionsvinyl.com.  I love that you can buy it in 12x12 sheets!  I used it to decorate some wine glasses!  Take a peek...

I started with some acrylic wine glasses I found at HomeGoods.  I figured they'd be great for outside, around the pool!  I cut the fish from Lori's Island Paradise collection (here in the Silhouette shop) and added a few to each glass.

See the full tutorial here.

I love how they turned out!  That's it for me today, thanks for stopping by!
