Fifty and Fabulous Card

Hi Everyone!  I have a cute card I created for a friend's birthday that I wanted to share.  It's a big year for some of us, but that doesn't mean we aren't fabulous, right??  Take a peek:

I created the card using my Silhouette and Lori Whitlock's Awesome Font.  The balloon pop up die is from Queen and Company, as are the Shaker Shapes,  and all papers are from Doodlebug Designs Sugar Shoppe collection.  I hope it makes turning the big 5-0 a little sweeter!  That's it for me today, thanks for stopping by to peek!

Doodlebug Design: Collectible Pin Display

Hi Everyone!  Today I have a project for Doodlebug Design ... showcasing the Doodlebug Collectible Pins!  I will admit, I have ALL THE DOODLEBUG PINS!!!!  They are just so cute I couldn't resist!  The problem for me was that they were sitting on my craft table just waiting for me to do something with them, so this project was perfect for me!  I'm, not really a collector, (other than craft supplies lol) so I headed over to Pinterest to look for pin display ideas.  I came upon this foam core board frame display idea here, and decided to give it a try!  Take a peek...

These were actually pretty easy to assemble.  I started by cutting frame shapes out using my Silhouette.  Next I traced each frame shape twice onto foam core board, and cut them out using an exacto knife.

Next, for each frame, I cut a piece of plastic canvas mesh (the kind you use for embroidery) to be just larger than the opening of the frame.

To assemble the frame, I glued the plastic mesh between the two foam core frames.  Using my Silhouette I cut the frame shapes from some Gingham Linen Petite Prints papers to cover the front of each frame.  I added some flowers from the Spring Things Odds & Ends and some older Doodlebug Ribbon I had in my stash to hang each frame.  Here are some close-ups of each frame...

And here they are hanging on the wall of my craft room!

That's it for me today!  Thanks for stopping by to peek!

Coffee Love

Hi Everyone!  I'm back again today with another layout I created for the Spring Crop over at Paper Issues.  This particular challenge was the Saturday Selfie Challenge...

My day does not begin until I've had my coffee... and at the Crop on the Cape, this means our morning trip to Dunkin' Donuts!  So I took a couple of selfies with my XL Coffee, and printed them on an Instax printer.  The papers and embellishments are from Doodlebug Designs Cream & Sugar Collection.

I just love the Coffee Bean Shaped Sprinkles... they have cute little faces, and the coffee clips are too cute!
More of the Shaped Sprinkles with the to go cup, again smiling like the coffee beans... just adorable.

Be sure to check out all of the great challenges over in the Paper Issues Friends and Fans Facebook Group, they are great for sparking that creative mojo!  That's it for me today, thanks for stopping by to peek!

All You Need is Love & a Cat

Hi Everyone!  It's been a while but I actually scrapped just for fun this weekend!  I spent a fun filled few days with some great friends at the Crop on the Cape, and actually got some stuff done!  I tend to chat more than scrap at these events lol.  Anyway, here is the first of the layouts I scrapped ...

This weekend was also the Spring Crop at Paper Issues.  They had a ton of challenges, and I created this layout for their Lucky in Love Challenge to scrap about someone/something you love.  Of course being a crazy cat lady, I scrapped my sweet boy Jax.  I used the new Meow from My Mind's Eye... It is such an adorable collection!

The cute little card from the Journal Card Pack was perfect for my title, and the die cuts and puffy stickers are too adorable!  I have a few more layouts I will try to blog later in the week, but If you're looking for some scrappy inspiration, check out the challenges over at Paper Issues, there's a little something for everyone!  That's it for me today, thanks for stopping by to peek!

Doodlebug Design: 3D Calendar

Hi Everyone!  Today I have a fun calendar project I created for Doodlebug Design.  This was one of those projects that got stuck in my head, and I could work on nothing else until it was complete!

I created the typewriter box using some Gingham Linen Petite Prints, some fun papers from the Spring Things collection and this cut file from SVGCuts.com.  I finished it off with the ADORABLE Honey Bee Doodle Pop. Here are some close-ups ...

They Typewriter is actually a box.  I thought this would be a great place to store the monthly calendars not in use!

The calendar pages are attached to the Typewriter paper using some low profile Velcro dots.

For the calendar pages, I created a 4x6 printable calendar which I printed on the "b" sides of some of the Daily Doodles Papers and then added Daily Doodles Month Stickers.  I further decorated each calendar page with stickers from various Doodlebug Collections. I love how easy it is to mix and match Doodlebug Collections!  Here are some close-ups of the other calendar pages...

I ended with January of 2018 since I didn't want to waste a month!  I can't wait to put this in my craft room! Be sure to stop by the Doodlebug Blog to check out more calendar inspiration from the design team!    That's it for me today,  thanks for stopping by to peek!
