Doodlebug Design | Cute & Crafty Mini Album

One of my favorite activities is scrapping with friends.  Over the past year plus, I've missed being able to get together for fun weekend crops and seeing my scrappy buddies!  One of my favorites, the Crop on the Cape had to be cancelled the last 2 years... so I'm more than excited for 2022!  When I saw all the cuteness in the Cute & Crafty Collection, I decided to make a mini album so that I'd be all set to document what is guaranteed to be a fabulous time!

I started with the Cute & Crafty - Instagram Camera cut file from the Lori Whitlock SVG Shop as the base of my mini.  For the lens, I created a fun shaker filled with Doodlebug Sequins!

I love how the SVG file had a photo coming from the camera, so I decided to create a slider for my album cover.  On the little photo that slides out I added my album title using some My Type Alphas. Once I had the cover done, I set to work decorating the different pages.

There are so many embellishments in this collection!  I picked my favorites from the Chit Chats, Bits & Pieces, the Odds & Ends, Icon Stickers, This & That Stickers and the mini icons to decorate the pages.  Oh and don't forget the adorable shaped sprinkles!  Here are some close ups...

Once I was all done with the pages, I bound my album using my Cinch Mini.  I cannot wait to get to the crop and take photos!  Have you made any projects using the new Cute & Crafty Collection?  Don't forget to tag Doodlebug Design on Facebook & Instagram.  We love to see what you create!  That's it for me today, thank you for stopping by to peek!

Doodlebug Design | iNSD Cut File Exclusive

To celebrate interNational Scrapbook Day, Doodlebug has created a fun new cut file!  It is free today only,  here in the Lori Whitlock SVG Shop!

I got to play with the file a little early.  As soon as I saw it, I knew that I wanted to scrap some of my pictures from this year's Crop on the Cape!  Take a peek...

I had fun picking papers.  I used the 6x6 pads from a number of Doodlebug Collections.  I like the smaller pattern size for the letters.  I then set out to find embellishments to match my letters to add some tone on tone details to my design.

I finished it of with some stitching and some coordinating sprinkles!

Make sure to stop by Lori's shop today to get this fun file for free!  If you make something using the file be sure to tag #NSD2019DB so we can see it!   Make sure to check out the Doodlebug Blog, Facebook and Instagram all day today for challenges and giveaways!   I'll be back later today with another fun Doodlebug NSD project!

Doodlebug Design: Another Fairy Tales Layout

Hi Everyone!  Happy Easter!  Today I have another layout using the adorable Fairy Tales Collection from Doodlebug Design.  This one features my friends and I at the annual Crop on the Cape Scrap weekend!  We always bring photo props and this year it was Unicorn horns,  magic wands, and a big blow up frame!

I had some more fun with the Odds & Ends Pieces and the  Rainbow Heart Shaped Sprinkles!

For my title, I mixed fonts using a few different Teensy Type Alphas as well as some Skinny alphas!  And I had to use the Unicorn Doodle Pop too!  He's so sparkly!

The Happy Skies Shaped Sprinkles were a must here.. I love the faces in the clouds!

This collection simply makes me happy!  Be sure to stop by the Doodlebug Design Blog for more Fairy Tales inspiration!  That's it for me today, thanks for stopping by to peek!

All You Need is Love & a Cat

Hi Everyone!  It's been a while but I actually scrapped just for fun this weekend!  I spent a fun filled few days with some great friends at the Crop on the Cape, and actually got some stuff done!  I tend to chat more than scrap at these events lol.  Anyway, here is the first of the layouts I scrapped ...

This weekend was also the Spring Crop at Paper Issues.  They had a ton of challenges, and I created this layout for their Lucky in Love Challenge to scrap about someone/something you love.  Of course being a crazy cat lady, I scrapped my sweet boy Jax.  I used the new Meow from My Mind's Eye... It is such an adorable collection!

The cute little card from the Journal Card Pack was perfect for my title, and the die cuts and puffy stickers are too adorable!  I have a few more layouts I will try to blog later in the week, but If you're looking for some scrappy inspiration, check out the challenges over at Paper Issues, there's a little something for everyone!  That's it for me today, thanks for stopping by to peek!
