Lori Whitlock | Lemonade Stand Box Card

Happy Memorial Day!  To me it always been the unofficial start to summer...  and summer makes me think of sitting on the patio or boat sipping lemonade!.  When I saw this adorable Lemonade Stand Box Card (SVG, Silhouette) from Lori Whitlock I just had to make it!

I pieced my Lemonade Stand together using some papers from Doodlebug Design.  This "sweet" card (pun totally intended...) is easy to assemble.  The sentiments are done using the print and cut function of your cutting machine, and if you need a little help, this general assembly tutorial for shaped box cards will get you pointed in the right direction.  It also folds flat for mailing and will fit in the free Center Box Card Envelope in Lori's Shop.  It's the perfect little card to send to someone to let them know you're thinking of them!

That's it for me today, thanks for stopping by to peek!

Doodlebug Design | Graduation Cards

Graduation season is upon us!  In-person graduations from kindergarten to college are all cancelled this year, but that just makes it more important to celebrate these milestones.   I decided that the Doodlebug Design Hey Cupcake, and Party Time stamps could be used for more than just birthdays, so I mixed them with some of the new Doodle Cuts and came up with a couple of fun graduation cards!  Take a peek...

I thought the first card would be cute for a little person!!!  I made a slider card using the big tag from the Large Tags Doodle Cuts Dies, and the Congrats is from the All Occasions Doodle Cuts Dies.  The stamps and papers are from the Party Time Collection.  I love how when you pull the tag up the little monkey floats up!

I made the second card for my daughter who is graduating from college on Friday.  She loved the little llama from the Hey Cupcake Party Animals stamps... kept trying to steal it when I colored it in lol.  So I added it to this fun pop up card...

In addition to the Hey Cupcake Party Animals stamps, I used the new Alex Alphabet Dies and some of the new mini jewels to add some sparkle.

Here are the card fronts.   I used the Borders and Edges dies on the front of my pop-up card.

The new stand alone dies are really great for card making, and of course the new mini jewels add the perfect bit of sparkle!  If you've used any of the new stamps and dies in your projects, be sure to tag Doodlebug on Facebook and Instagram!  We'd love to see what you create!  That's it for me today, thanks for stopping by to peek.

iNSD Projects - Bella Blvd. Chloe Box Cards

Hi Everyone!  I hope everyone is keeping sane and healthy!  Did you get crafty on interNational Scrapbook Day?  I was determined to simply play with paper.  No assignments, no deadlines, just something for fun!  I created a couple of box cards based on the new Bella Blvd. Chloe Collection SVG files which are available in the Lori Whitlock SVG Shop.  Of course I had to play with these files because... well kitties!!  Take a peek...

My first card was based on the Cat in a Box 2 file from the collection.  I love this file, it's so on point.  Put a box down in my house and there will immediately be a cat in it.    I used some Bella Besties Graph Dot papers to piece it together.

My next card is one of my all time favorites.  I used the Cat with Yarn  and Fish Bowl files to create this box card of a kitty peeking into a fish bowl.  I used transparency sheets for the glass and for the insert with the fish, and more Bella Besties papers to piece it together.  I love how the fish look like they are floating!!

I love it when crafty ideas turn out like you envisioned!  All in all it was a fun iNSD.  That's it for me today, thanks for stopping by to peek!

Doodlebug Design | Party Time Cards

Monkeys and puppies and elephants... oh my!  I seriously cannot get enough of the cute little critters in the Doodlebug Design Party Time Collection.  Each one makes me smile.  I decided that they should be the "stars" of a couple of fun birthday cards.... take a peek...

I think the Odds & Ends are my all time favorite Doodlebug embellishment.  You can do so many things with them!  There are lots of balloons in this collection, So I decided that each critter should be holding one!  I especially love the acetate balloons!

For my first card I used the base of this card from Lori Whitlock.  I love the slider window... pull the tag and it not only reveals a sweet sentiment, but it makes the monkey look like he's floating up!

I wanted to use a bunch of the critters for one card, so I thought a pop up card would be best.  Open up the card and they all pop out to surprise you!  It would make a great "from all of us" card.

Both cards fold flat for mailing.  I decorated the front of the pop up card with a chit chat sentiment and a couple of the acetate balloons.  If you've made any projects using the Party Time collection, be sure to tag Doodlebug Design on Facebook and Instagram.  We always love to see your creations!  That's it for me today, thanks for stopping by to peek!
