Lori Whitlock | Floating Easel Halloween Cards

Now that it's September, I feel it's OK to start thinking about Halloween (as opposed to July when the candy was added to my local market!)  Halloween may not look the same this year, but we can still celebrate by sending cards to our favorite goblins!  I created two new Floating Easel Cards and they are available in the Lori Whitlock SVG shop this week!  Take a peek...

Floating Easel Card Haunted House (SVG, Silhouette)

Floating Easel Card Spider Web (SVG, Silhouette)

I pieced these together using some of the I Love Halloween Collection from Echo Park Paper.  I have an assembly tutorial on Lori's Blog here.  That's it for me today, thanks for stopping by to peek!

iNSD Projects - Bella Blvd. Chloe Box Cards

Hi Everyone!  I hope everyone is keeping sane and healthy!  Did you get crafty on interNational Scrapbook Day?  I was determined to simply play with paper.  No assignments, no deadlines, just something for fun!  I created a couple of box cards based on the new Bella Blvd. Chloe Collection SVG files which are available in the Lori Whitlock SVG Shop.  Of course I had to play with these files because... well kitties!!  Take a peek...

My first card was based on the Cat in a Box 2 file from the collection.  I love this file, it's so on point.  Put a box down in my house and there will immediately be a cat in it.    I used some Bella Besties Graph Dot papers to piece it together.

My next card is one of my all time favorites.  I used the Cat with Yarn  and Fish Bowl files to create this box card of a kitty peeking into a fish bowl.  I used transparency sheets for the glass and for the insert with the fish, and more Bella Besties papers to piece it together.  I love how the fish look like they are floating!!

I love it when crafty ideas turn out like you envisioned!  All in all it was a fun iNSD.  That's it for me today, thanks for stopping by to peek!

Lori Whitlock | Purr-fect Halloween Card

Only 15 more days until Halloween!!  Have you bought your candy yet?  I'm putting that off until last minute so I'm not tempted to sneak a few for myself!  I did make some Halloween Cards, including this "purr-fect" card... Lori Whitlock's Pop Up Box Card Halloween Cat (SVG, Silhouette).

All papers and embellishments are from Doodlebug Design's Candy Carnival and Petite Prints Collections.  I changed the design slightly... adding some green and pink papers behind the kitty's face and I also added some silly enamel dot eyes to the spider.  It's such a fun card, I can't wait to send it out!  Have you made any of  Lori's Halloween cards or projects?  Be sure to tag her on Facebook and Instagram, we would love to see your creations!  That's it for me today, thanks for stopping by to peek!

Doodlebug Design | I ❤️ Travel Cut Files!!

Hold on to your hats... I have some exciting news... the new Doodlebug Design I❤️Travel cut files are coming this week!!  I was so excited to get a sneak peek and decided to celebrate by using one of the files for my project today!

I made a little box card featuring the I ❤️ Travel Camera File.  I added a shaker to the lens piece and filled it with some seed beads.  I finished the card with some glitter sprinkles and a sentiment from the I ❤️ Travel Chit Chat Pieces!

Be sure to be on the look out for the new files in the Lori Whitlock SVG Shop and the Silhouette Store!  Also be sure to tag Doodlebug Design on Facebook & Instagram if you use one of the files in a project, we would love to see your creations!  That's it for me today, thanks for stopping by to peek!
