I got to play with some Simple Stories Happy Day at Right at Home this month. I've decided that Simple Stories is becoming one of my new favs... LOVE the colors and there are so many embellies with each collection. This picture is from my daughter's 13th birthday party last month... a small affair... just 18 of her closest friends. Oh well, live and learn. At least the weather was good and they had fun! The layout is based on Creative Scrappers Sketch 164.

Some Bella Blvd. Layouts
Recently I sent in an application to the Bella Blvd. Design Team call... didn't make it, but was very happy that one of my layouts was featured on their blog as a project that "caught their eye." Made me happy that they did like my work! Here's some of the layouts that I submitted.
I love this picture of our kitty Rosie, she's so squishy. I used Bella's Tail Waggers and Cat Naps for this layout.
This next layout uses the new Too Cute to Spook. LOVE this line. It's full of cute monsters and great colors.

I stamped this little spider using the coordinating Unity stamps, leave it to Bella to make a spider cute.
Finally, here is the layout that was recognized on Bella's Blog. I had fun with this one, comparing my daughter's first day of school pics and "likes" from the beginning of middle school to the end.

September RAH Layouts
It's been a busy month over at Right at Home Scrapbooking...lots and lots of new CHA items coming in!! Not so good for my wallet. Here are a couple of layouts I created. The first was created from the goodies in the Layout Workshop take home kit using Bella Blvd's Family Dynamix.
The banner was created with MFT's Fishtail Banner Die Namic and some twine from the Twinery.

I hand cut the flowers and added some Whimsy buttons... they coordinated perfectly!
Finally, I hand cut the tree from the Cute Cuts sheet and added a Bella Blossom and a little birdie Whimsy pin.
This next layout was created for the DT, using some fun papers from Jillibean Soup Pasta Fagioli line. I also used a bunch of the MFT Die Namics from the September release.

Feeling Dotty... Again!
I've had such fun playing with Echo Park's Dots & Stripes this month over at Let's Capture our Memories. Both the Metropolitan and Candy Shoppe lines are so bright and cheery!
I decided to go off the page once more and created a perpetual calendar mixing the Metropolitan and Candy Shoppe Lines.
All this project required was some chipboard, papers stickers, and my Zutter Bind-it-all.

All this project required was some chipboard, papers stickers, and my Zutter Bind-it-all.
I used two sheets of the Metropolitan Alpha stickers to create the days, months and dates.
And once I reacquainted myself with my Bind-it-all... it went together really quickly. I'm thinking this would make a great holiday gift for teachers and coaches.
For my other project, I created a really cute layout featuring my daughter and a neighbor at a tea party that was held for the girls in my neighborhood. They're just soooo cute!

Dots and Stripes at LCOM
A few of the ladies over at LCOM created some beautiful altered items last month, and inspired me to create something off the page! Looking through my stash, I found this great memo board frame from Canvas Corp. and decided it was a perfect base for this project I created for my daughter's room.
I used Echo Park's Dots and Stripes Metropolitan to cover the frame and the background and back the pictures, and I used twine from the Twinery to hang my items from. The mini clothes pins are Canvas Corp.

PageMaps Layout
I was so excited to get an e-mail from Becky Fleck last month asking me to be part of the September PageMaps newsletter!! I LOVE PageMaps... have both her layout sketch books and often use her sketches for inspiration. Here's what I came up with using her fun sketch.
Last June, my daughter was invited to a birthday party where the girls got to play "dress-up" with cocktail dresses and evening gowns. They had so much fun and each girl got to take a dress home! It was a fabulous party! I thought that Bella Blvd.'s Sophisticates line was the perfect fit for this layout.
I also used MFT's Rolled Roses Die namics and Doily to enhance the "girly" theme. It was such a fun layout to create! Check out the September PageMaps newsletter to see some of the other wonderful layouts!
