Right at Home Scrapbooking: It's a Plan Class 3rd Layout

Just a quick post today to showcase the third layout I created for the It's a Plan class at Right at Home Scrapbooking.  Take a Peek:

The papers are from My Mind's Eye Cut and Paste Charm collection.  I thought they were perfect for this picture of my husband on vacation.  Didn't think I was going to be able to get him to come back home!  The title was cut from a Kerri Bradford file.  That's it for today...I'll be back with some Doodlebug & Right at Home Projects later in the week!

Right at Home Scrapbooking: It's a Plan Class Layout 2

Hi Everyone...I just realized I never posted the remaining layouts from my June It's a Plan class at Right at Home Scrapbooking!  This is the second layout...

The papers and stickers are from the My Mind's Eye Cut and Paste Charm collection.   The pictures are just some silly selfies my husband and I took on a recent weekend down in Cape Cod.

I'll be back tomorrow with the last of the three layouts from my class...that's it for today, thanks for stopping by!

Doodlebug Design: Pocket Life using Treat Bags

Hi Everyone,I have a fun Pocket Life layout using some Doodlebug Treat Bags.  I love Doodlebug's Treat Bags...they're so fun and colorful!  And like all Doodlebug products, they coordinate beautifully with a number of collections!   I chose to work with the Limeade Chevron & Swimming Pool Gingham bags.  They're a perfect match for Doodlebug's Day to Day collection.  Here's my PL spread featuring some silly photo booth pictures my daughter and her friends took at their Sophomore Ring Dance.

I love all the fun stickers from the Day to Day collection!  I decided to make some photo booth "props" using the stickers and some of the pixies from the collection.

Here's a peek at more of my cards...

It's sad that they're so shy, right?  My new favorite thing is shakers...I created a fun shaker using a cut out frame from the Doodlebug Simply Put cards, some vellum and some Doodlebug Sequins.

For my final card, I used the Limeade Chevron Treat bag as a tag holder.  I listed the "cast of characters" on the tag.  The bag is perfect for hidden journaling!

That's it for me today, I'll be back tomorrow with a layout I created for Right at Home Scrapbooking!  Thanks for stopping by!

The Twinery: June Guest Designer Flag Card

Hi Everyone, I'm back today with my last Guest Design Post at The Twinery!  It's hard to believe that the Fourth of July is next week!  I decided to put together a fun card to celebrate.  Take a peek:

I started out with a Ladybug Paisley card base from Doodlebug Designs and some papers from Doodlebug's Patriotic Parade Collection.   To create my flag design, I first drew a grid on the back of my white paper.  Next, I punched the stitching holes with my paper piercer.  Then using Maraschino & Denim Solid Twines, I cross-stitched the flag pattern.

Here's a close up of the stitching.  I added some Doodlebug Lily White Sequins for the stars on the flag.  That's it for me today!  It's been so nice being back at The Twinery this month!  I'll be back soon with some more projects!

Hi Everyone, I have one of the layouts I created for this month's It's a Plan Class at Right at Home Scrapbooking.  We played with some My Mind's Eye Cut & Paste Charm to put together this layout:

The Hello Summer is from the Silhouette Store, and the sun & clouds were cut using Lawn Fawn's Spring Showers dies.

I have a couple of more layouts from our class that I'll be posting over the next week.  I'll be back tomorrow with my last Guest Design post for The Twinery!  Thanks for stopping by!

Hi Everyone...I'm back today with a layout I created using the June Mood Board over at Right at Home Scrapbooking and Sketch 271 from Creative Scrappers.  Take a peek at the Mood Board & sketch:

And here's what I came up with:

I love this picture of me and my cousins... it's the first time in years we were all together for my cousin Christine's bridal shower.  It's always a good time with these girls!!!  I used some goodies from My Mind's Eye Now & Then Dorothy collection.  Love the touches of silver!

That's it for me today...I'll be back tomorrow to showcase the layouts I created for the last It's a Plan class at Right at Home Scrapbooking.  Thanks for stopping by!

Paper Issues: In the Navy

We have a new issue up at Paper Issues...In the Navy...sponsored by Echo Park.  Ideas include shades of blue, sky, clouds, military, anchors, the ocean, patriotic, use of Echo Park Products...you can interpret it a number of ways!!  For my layout I chose to focus on the ocean...here's what I came up with:

This has to be the funniest thing I've ever seen on the water... we were in Marion Harbor waiting for the Fourth of July fireworks, and this little skiff was sailing around selling ice cream.  They even had the ice cream man music!  Priceless.  I used Fancy Pants Nautical and some flair from Panda Eight & PI Swag Bags!

My title was cut using one of the new files from Kerri Bradford's Urban Dictionary Collection...such a fun group of words and phrases!!!

Link up your projects to our In the Navy Issue and you could win the Walking on Sunshine AND the Capture Life Color 12 x 12 Collection kits from Echo Park! That's it for me today, thanks for stopping by!
