Let's Capture These Sketches Reveal

It's reveal time over at Let's Capture These Sketches! Sketch #128 was created by Darlene. Here's my take on it:

These are a couple of my all-time favorite pictures! My daughter LOVED her Cozy Coupe! Every time she got in, we had instant smiles! I used Little Yellow Bicycle's Sweet Summertime papers and embellies. The colors are so bright and cheery, they matched the pictures perfectly.
I fell in love with the Whimsy car pin as soon as I saw it and knew I'd use it to scrap these pics!
That's all for today! I'll be back soon with some layouts I created for a class over at Right at Home.

And here's my version...
I love this pic of my daughter trying to pick a coconut down in the keys... I used Little Yellow Bicycle's Paradise line...LOVE the colors!
Paradise also has awesome embellies... the packet full of paper flowers was my favorite!
The chipboard birdie was too cute to pass up. Make sure to stop by Let's Capture These Sketches to see the wonderful layouts created by the team!

Smiles

Just a quick post to show my last layout using Lily Bee's Picket Fence from LCOM! I'm officially in love with this line now! These are pictures of my daughter and neighborhood friends at our annual block party.

I spritzed some Little Yellow Bicycle doilies to match the paper and the flowers were created using the new MFT Rolled Daisy Die namic.

And of course, there are butterflies! Love the butterflies. I made these with MFT's Butterfly Die namics and created the antennae using seed beads on a piece of wire.

That's all for now! Stop by LCOM soon to get some Lily Bee Picket Fence and take a peek at their other fun lines!

A Little Twig

Hi there... thought I'd share a layout I did over the weekend. It's based on a sketch by Inspired Blueprints, and I used the Little Yellow Bicycle Twig line. This line is awesome, full of my favorite color combo... blue, green and brown!

The Twig line comes with all sorts of great embellies! I fell in love with the canvas banner and the button flowers! The butterflies were created using MFT's Butterfly Die-namic and the mini clothespins are from Canvas Corp... they were just so cute I had to have them!

The pictures are from Caroline's 12th birthday party... so glad the girls can still be goofy! That's it for now.. I'll be back soon with some pictures of our day trip to D.C. We're going down because Caroline's Youth Art Month's flag design won for the state of MA. They're making it into a 3'x5' flag and having a flag raising ceremony at the Capitol! It's very exciting. We've also been invited to visit with our local Congressman, who was unable to make the ceremony but wanted to meet Caroline. Back Soon!
