A Two-Pager

Wow, two posts in two days, I'm on a roll! Just thought I'd share a two page layout I did for the DT over at Right at Home Scrapbooking. Lisa gave me a great PageMaps Sketch and some Echo Park Happy Days to work with. I don't do a ton of 2 pagers, and was worried I wouldn't have enough pics, but I found some and they worked perfectly with the EP goodies.
These pictures are from the Taylor Swift Concert last June at Gillette Stadium. The girls had a great time tailgating, and the concert was awesome. She really puts on a great show! I was particularly impressed by how she kept right on going in the middle of a torrential downpour!

The EP Happy Days papers coordinated great with my theme, lots of music inspired embellies.

I even added one of my own, creating a music stanza and a G-Clef with some Twinery twine (of course!!)
I'll be back soon with some more layouts, including my first reveal for Let's Capture These Sketches.

MFT Fan Club at RAH

Not sure how I did it, but I managed to complete the layout for the MFT Fan Club at Right at Home. I based the layout on sketch 186 from Creative Scrappers. Take a peek!

I used Crate Paper's Portrait Collection and some of the latest MFT Die namics including By the Letter and Fringed Perennial.

OK, no more playing... I'm off to wrap all the presents! Have a wonderful Christmas!

Packaging Christmas

It's down to the wire now... only 6 more days until Christmas. Not sure if it will all get done, but I'm slowly chipping away. Every year I make cookies for the neighbors and realized this year I forgot to buy tins to put them in. Luckily I have an endless supply of scrapbooking goodies, and was able to come up with this idea..

I just cut a piece of Echo Park Dots and Stripes Christmas to fit over the top of a lunch bag. I added a snowflake and some Twinery twine and DONE! The little birdie is new from Poppystamps.com and comes with a coordinating die... too cute!

Next up was all the gift cards for teachers and nieces and nephews (too hard to get them what they want anymore!) I hate to give just a gift card, it needs to be pretty so I came up with these ornament holders. I used the Echo Park Holly Jolly Ornament SVG from iDiecuts.com as the base and just sewed a half circle on the back to hold the card. I finished it off with some Twinery Twine and the dog tag Die namic from MFT.

OK, I'm off to finish my layout for the MFT Fan Club over at Right at Home and wrap presents. Laundry and dinner are on hold.

We'll be playing with Echo Park's Dots and Stripes Christmas, some baker's twine from The Twinery and Stickles for a bit of sparkle! Here's the layout we'll be creating...

The mittens are cut from a Sizzix Die and the twine is Stone from the Twinery.

The snowflakes were cut using MFT's Snowflake Die namics and covered with Ice Stickles.

We hope you can join us! To learn more about the Layout Workshop you can check out Right at Home's Blog and calendar.

Tag-a-Polooza Day 8

It's day 8 of tags and cards over at Right at Home Scrapbooking. Here's what I created using Jillibean Soup's Christmas Eve Chowder and some twine from the Twinery:

I cut the tag from my Cricut Cartridge Bags, Tags and Boxes. The snowman was created using the 1/4" Rosette from MFT. My favorite parts are the braided twine scarf and twine pom-pom! The snowflakes and sentiment are from MFT as well. Make sure to check the Right at Home blog to see all the fun tags and cards the ladies have created!

I got to go first.. here's my tag using Jillibean Soup's Christmas Eve Chowder papers and some fun twine from The Twinery. The tree was inspired by a blog-hop over at The Twinery a few weeks ago.
