Study Buddies

I love it when designers come out with cute lines for pets, especially since I have hundreds of pictures of my crazy kitties! Bella Blvd. has a new fun line Tail Waggers and Cat Naps which is perfect for these pics! I created this layout for the DT at Right at Home Scrapbooking.

I love this picture of Caroline and Rosie! It's so funny... where ever Caroline is these days, Rosie follows and demands attention. It's really cute. She's such an easy-going kitty!

I cut the paw and the funky circle from one of the Tail Waggers and Cat Naps papers and painted some of the Maya Road and Bazzill Chipboard pieces from my stash to match the color scheme.

The word stickers are a perfect detail for pet pages!! A few Whimsy Buttons and done! I'll be back soon with some more Tail Waggers and Cat Naps!

Smiles

Just a quick post to show my last layout using Lily Bee's Picket Fence from LCOM! I'm officially in love with this line now! These are pictures of my daughter and neighborhood friends at our annual block party.

I spritzed some Little Yellow Bicycle doilies to match the paper and the flowers were created using the new MFT Rolled Daisy Die namic.

And of course, there are butterflies! Love the butterflies. I made these with MFT's Butterfly Die namics and created the antennae using seed beads on a piece of wire.

That's all for now! Stop by LCOM soon to get some Lily Bee Picket Fence and take a peek at their other fun lines!

Picket Fences

I'm back with my latest post for LCOM using Lily Bee Picket Fence. LOVE the colors in this line!

We took a ride around the Keys one day on our vacation and stopped at this great restaurant right next to the Seven Mile Bridge. The view was gorgeous, and so were the flowers.

I made the flowers using the MFT Upsy Daisy die... love how they come out! I'm also loving the newsprint pattern!

You can get Lily Bee Picket Fence at LCOM now... they also have a couple other Lily Bee lines that are so pretty!!

May RAH Sketch

Hi Everyone... it's Right at Home sketch time again. Our DT Coordinator Frances came up with a great sketch to work with this month. Here's my take on it.

My kitties provide me with endless photo ops!! Even when they're just lazing around (which is most of the time!) I used Bella Blvd.'s new line Tailwaggers and Cat Naps for this layout. The line is just adorable!

I spritzed the twill tape and Maya Road zipper trim flower with Shimmerz Spritz to give them color. The rolled flower was made using MFT's Rolled Flower Die-namic. The button flower and cute little lady bug are from My Little Bit of Whimsy.

I just love that little lady bug!!! That's it for now, be back later this week with some more Lily Bee layouts!

Key West

I had a wonderful time at the Right at Home Book Club last night. What a fun group of ladies! This session we're working with Scrapbook Tips and Techniques 2 by Creating Keepsakes. It's a fun book full of great ideas. One of the projects I did this month was this layout from our trip to the Keys... I love this picture!

My layout is based on Creative Scrappers Sketch #152, and I used the great new line from My Mind's Eye.. A Summer Day. The card stock elements were perfect! To finish it off I used a couple of cloud buttons from My Little Bit of Whimsy and created the banner using MFT's new Dienamic, Fishtail Banner.

It was a fun layout to make, and I really wish I was back there, especially with the weather report around here! I'll be back soon with a mini brag book I made for a good friend who just had number 3!!

Lily Bee Design at LCOM

Hi Everyone,
I'm back with a new layout done for the Marketing Team at LCOM. I got to work with a line that's new to me... Lily Bee Designs. I used their new line Picket Fence for this Easter layout. Our cherry tree, when in bloom is gorgeous, and we always try to get a picture to capture the blossoms. It was in it's full glory this Easter!

I went a bit crazy with the misting on this one, misting the eyelet trim, lace and flowers with Shimmerz Spritz. The flowers are Prima.

I added some machine and hand stitching to finish it off! Be back soon with some more layouts!

Some MFT Cuteness!

I just had to share this project... I decorated these flip flops for a Beach Party that's being held at Right at Home Scrapbooking this coming Friday evening.

They were super easy to make! I just tied strips of green fabric around the tops of the flip flops, then topped them off with fabric daisies I made using the new MFT Rolled Daisy die! Can't wait to wear them! I think I'll need to go get a pedi now!
