Doodlebug Design | Let it Snow-Arctic Friends Box Cards

Winter is here in the Northeast!  I have a couple of friends celebrating birthdays this month, so I thought I'd use the Let it Snow Collection along with the Arctic Friends Doodle Stamps to make some fun box cards!

I love making dimensional scenes in my box cards.  For my first card, I created the card base using dies from my stash (MFT).  I then added adorable little polar bear from the Arctic Friends Doodle Stamps, a few trees from the Winter Wonderland Doodle Stamps and the mountains from the Great Outdoors Set.  The sentiment is from the Arctic Friends set, and is perfect for my friend's birthday!

For my next card, I stamped and colored the cute little sea creatures in the Arctic Friends Set.  They are all so cute, but I do think that little Narwhal is my favorite!  I added them to some snow mounds and waves along with the fishies!

These stamps are just perfect for winter cardmaking, and I love that the Let it Snow Collection can be used for more than just the holidays!  Have you made any projects using the Let it Snow Collection, or the new Arctic Friends Stamps?  Be sure to tag Doodlebug Design on Facebook and Instagram, we always love to see what you create!  That's it for me today, thanks for stopping by to peek!

Doodlebug Design | Let it Snow Gift Card Holders

Hi Everyone!  I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday and got to spend at least some time with friends and family!  We had a wonderful time, good food, good friends & family!  Of course there was some last minute crazy gift buying on my part... a few gift cards, which I decided to package up with the ADORABLE Let it Snow Collection.  Take a peek...

My first gift card holder was for my daughter.  Every year, I do a little gift card surprise to her favorite shops.  She's living on her own these days in NYC so it's always fun to get some fun money to spend!  I made a slimline Gift Card wallet.  On the front, I used a circles die to cut fun windows and filled them some little scenes using the snowmen stickers from the Icon Sticker Sheet.

When you open the card, I added 4 pockets stacked on top of each other.  Each one holds a gift card.  And of course I had to add the adorable Santa and reindeer!

For my next two gift card holders, I created double slider cards.  I added some cute stamped images from the Arctic Friends Doodle Stamps on my first slider along with some Let it Snow Snowflake Sprinkles. The scallop edge was cut using a die from the All Occasion Borders and Edges Doodle Cuts.

And when you pull the tab on the bottom, the gift card slides out of the top!  This was for my great niece who has a birthday right after Christmas!  I love how you can use Let it Snow for non-holiday projects!

For my second slider card I used the cute little snowman, tree and present stamps from the Winter Wonderland Doodle Stamps along with more snowflake sprinkles.

Again, pull the tab and the gift card pops out of the top and the sentiment on the bottom!

Doodlebug Design | Let it Snow Advent Calendar

I love making Advent calendars.  Every year I make one with my Doodlebug Christmas goodies!  I put this fun one together using the Let it Snow Collection... Take a peek....

To create the calendar, I combined two different files that are available in the Lori Whitlock SVG Shop.  I started with this file as the base with the 24 drawers.  I then resized and added the tree from the Christmas Tree Gifts calendar I created last year.  All that was left was to decorate with the fabulous papers and Odds & Ends in the Let it Snow Collection.

I used the 6x6 pad to cover the drawers and side panels.  I love the smaller prints!  There are so many cute icons in the Odds & Ends pack, I wanted to create little scenes that could be seen on every side of the calendar.  I made some to sit around the tree... propping them up with a little easel, and then more on each of the sides...

Each of the drawers is big enough to hold a gift card or some special treats!  It's perfect if you have more than one little elf who likes to open the daily advent drawer, as it fits quite a bit!  For my drawer pulls I used some chunky brads and I used some My Type Alphas to number each drawer.

Here are some close-ups of all the little scenes....

I really had fun putting this all together!  If you've made something with the Let It Snow Collection, be sure to tag Doodlebug Design on Facebook and Instagram!  We always love to see your creations!  That's it for me today, thanks for stopping by to peek!
