Doodlebug Design | Fairy Garden Shaped Cards

I am a cut file lover.  So when I saw the Fairy Garden Collection files in the Lori Whitlock SVG Shop I was absolutely giddy!  I love making larger versions of all of the adorable Fairy Garden icons, I picked a few of my favorite files to create these fun shaped cards.  Take a peek...

I just love the little bugs in the Fairy Garden collection!  They are just so stinkin' cute!  The ladybug is one of my favorites.  This card was created using the Fairy Garden Bug on Toadstool SVG.  I used a variety of color coordinating Petite Prints to piece it together, and finished both cards with some sprinkles.

My next card was created using the Snail on Toadstool and Flower Patches SVG files.  That little snail just makes me smile!

I just love that Doodlebug's Petite prints coordinate perfectly with all of their collections.  It allows me to make my larger versions of their cute little icons in the exact colors as their smaller counterparts!  And the scaled down prints of the 6x6 pads are perfect for smaller pieces!

Have you made any projects using the Fairy Garden SVG Files?  Be sure to tag Doodlebug Design on Facebook and Instagram, we always love to see your creations!  That's it for me today, thanks for stopping by to peek.

Doodlebug Design | Fairy Garden Flip Mini Album

I love looking online for inspiration.  Sometimes you see something that just jumps out at you, and you just have to make it!  That is the feeling I got when I saw the adorable Flip Mini Album in Scrapbook.com's 10 Mini Album Projects to Make This Weekend post.  As soon as I saw this mini I knew I would make it using the Fairy Garden Collection.  It comes in it's own box, and the album pops up for viewing.  Take a peek...

I decorated the outside of the box with one of the large stickers from the This and That sheet along with some cute Mushroom Meadow Shaped Sprinkles.

When you remove the cover, you can see the little pages.  When you pull up on the tab, the whole album pops up and sits on the edges of the box

The pages are attached into the box with a ribbon.  When you pull them up, they fan out so you can flip through all the pages.

I had some really fun photos of my great niece picking dandelions.  They may be weeds to some, but to a 3 year old they are the most beautiful flowers ever!  Here are some close ups of the other pages..

I thought it was such a fun way to display a few photos!  Have you made anything using the Fairy Garden Collection?  Make sure to tag Doodlebug on both Facebook and Instagram!  We always love to see what you create.  That's it for me today, thanks for stopping by to peek!

Doodlebug Design | Bloom Where You Are Planted Layout

Did you do any scrapping for International Scrapbook Day?  I always have grand plans to do multiple projects... and I'm lucky if one is completed!  I did get a chance to play with some of the Fairy Garden Collection and created a fun layout... take a peek...

I found these adorable pictures of my great niece picking wildflowers on Instagram and with her mom's permission I "stole" them!  I thought they would perfectly coordinate with the flowers and critters in the Fairy Garden Collection!  I created the cut file using my Silhouette, and the cut layers of grass using Lawn Fawn's Grassy Border Die and some petite prints.

I embellished with lots of goodies from the Odds & Ends pack.  It was fun to tuck some of the flowers, mushrooms and critters into the layers of grass!  I also scattered in some flowers from the Spring Garden Shaped Sprinkles.

I just love the cloud side of the Glowbugs Cardstock... I may or may not have multiples hoarded in my stash!  It makes the perfect background!  Now for something fun!  I've made this cut file available to you.  You can download it here from my blog.  If you create with it, be sure to tag me and Doodlebug Design on Facebook and Instagram.  We always love to see your creations!  That's it for me today, thanks for stopping by to peek.

Doodlebug Design | Bugs & Kisses Cards

I love to color.  Ever since I was little, coloring was a favorite activity.  A fresh new box of crayons... with all the fun colors (and built in sharpener!), not much could make me happier!  These days I've switched to Copics, but the joy is still the same.  The new Bugs & Kisses Stamps also make me very happy... the ladybugs, frogs, bees.... absolutely adorable! I spent a whole afternoon coloring these sweet little images.   Mixed with some papers from the Fairy Garden 6x6 pad and you have a recipe for some fun cards.  Take a peek...

For my sentiments, I used the Alex Alphabet Doodle Cuts.  I love the long, skinny look of these letters!  They are perfect for cards!  Here are some close-ups...

I always envision these cute little buggies hanging around a meadow of wildflowers, so I added some of the floral stamps from the Fairy Garden Doodle Stamp set.  My favorites are the tall holly-hocks!

And the little mushrooms are so fun.  I added some dots to the top of some of them using a white jelly roll pen.

And of course I needed at least one "punny" card!  That little bumblebee... could he BEE any cuter?

Have you created any cards or projects with the new Fairy Garden and Bugs & Kisses Doodle Stamps?  Be sure to tag Doodlebug Design on Facebook and Instagram... we love to see your creations.  That's it for me today, thanks for stopping by to peek!

Doodlebug Design | Fairy Garden Box Cards

I am so excited to be kicking off a few weeks of Fairy Garden inspiration on the Doodlebug Design Blog!  As soon as I saw this collection, I fell in love with all of the adorable little icons... the fairies, the mushrooms... and all of those cute little bugs!!  I've always said... only Doodlebug can make a cute bug!  Along with some of the papers in the collection, I decided to use the new Fairy Garden and Bugs & Kisses Doodle Stamps to make some fun box cards. Take a peek...

As I mentioned... I just love the little bugs in the Bugs & Kisses Doodle Stamps!  I decided to make a card featuring them in a meadow.  The flower and mushroom stamps made it easy to create a sweet little scene!  I used some Gingham Linen Petite Prints for the grass and the clouds side of the Glow Bugs Paper for my background.  I will be stocking up on this paper... it's perfect for creating scenes and making backgrounds!

Here's a close up of those cute little critters!

Just as the bugs love hanging in the meadow, I though those adorable little Fairies from the Fairy Garden Doodle Stamps would love hanging out in the clouds!  I created this fun card featuring them floating about.  The sun stamp is from the Hippity Hoppity Doodle Stamps.

How cute are those fairies??!!  I already have more cards planned using both of these Doodle Stamp Sets... they are absolutely adorable!  Have you created any projects using the Fairy Garden Collection and Doodle Stamps? Be sure to tag Doodlebug Design on Facebook and Instagram, we love to see your projects!  Also, be sure to stop by the blog over the next couple of weeks for more Fairy Garden inspiration.  That's it for me today, thanks for stopping by to peek!
