Lawn Fawnatics Challenge #25: Color Challenge

Hi Everyone!  It's Lawn Fawn's 8th Birthday and Lawn Fawnatics 1st Birthday this month !  They put together a color challenge to celebrate....

How fun are these colors?  It made me immediately think of the new Really Rainbow papers!  I put together this card to play along (and celebrate! )

I started with the new Selfie Frame Dies.  For the "picture" I used a masking technique and a kitty stamp from the Meow You Doin' Stamp Set.  I added some little hats and the balloon from the Party Animals Stamp Set to finish it off.  The background paper is from the Really Rainbow 6x6 Pad.  So cute, and the perfect card for any crazy cat lady :).  That's it for me today, thanks for stopping by to peek!

Doodlebug Design: Down on the Farm Cut Files

I recently attended the Crop on the Cape with friends, and decided to make a fun shaped card using one of the new  Doodlebug Design Down on the Farm Cut files which are available at the Lori Whitlock SVG Shop..  As soon as I made one, my friends kept asking for more and more each person picking their favorite animal!  Soon I ended up with a farms-worth of shaped cards!  Take a peek...

These files are just so stinking cute!  I used Gingham Linen Petite Prints for these cards, the colors are perfect, and the sentiments are from the Down on the Farm Chit Chat Pack.  Here are some close-ups..

.
This card was made using the Lamb file.  I used an embossing folder to make him appear a bit more fluffy and added some Beetle Back Sprinkles for his eyes.

I've said it before, I'll say it again... ONLY Doodlebug can make a bug cute.  This little fly is no exception.  I used the Flies File and gave him some faceted fly-eyes by using some Beetle Black Jewels

.I just love this little chick in the egg... he's soooo tweet!  (sorry, couldn't resist)  I used the Chicks file for him.

This little pig in the mud puddle just makes me smile.  He was created using the Pig #3 File.

The cow was actually the first card I created with the files.  I love his cute face and the What's Moo sentiment makes me laugh every time I see it!  He was created using the Cow #2 File.
I had such a fun time making these cards!  That's it for me today, thanks for stopping by to peek!

Lori Whitlock: Easter Bunny Window Treat Boxes

Hi Everyone!  I can't believe Easter is in 2 weeks!  Since it's so early this year,  I had to get my act together much more quickly to make these fun little treat boxes for my college sophomore and her dorm-mates!

I used Lori's Easter Window Box Bunny (SVG File, Silhouette File) and added a fun little pop-pom tail to the window!  (The pom-poms were made with baker's  twine and a pom-pom maker). The adorable plaid papers are from Lawn Fawn's Perfectly Plaid Spring Paper pack.

I filled them with some chocolate eggs and sent them off to the girls!  Head over to Lori's shop for a great variety of Easter files!  That's it for me today, thanks for stopping by to peek!

Doodlebug Design: Down on the Farm Cards

Today I'm excited to be kicking off a couple of weeks of Down on the Farm projects for Doodlebug Design!  I was so happy to get this collection,  the critters, the papers, the colors.... all "udderly" irresistible!  There were so many goodies to choose from I had a hard time narrowing down my selections!  Finally I did, and made these "moovalous" cards!

I laughed out loud when I saw the "Cow's it Going" Chit Chat piece.  I made a fun pop up card using papers from the 6x6 Down on the Farm Papers and the other embellishments are from the Odds & Ends Pieces.  I also used Lawn Fawn's Pop Up Stitched Hillside Die

I decorated the front of the card as well, a little more simply to allow the inside to stand out,  using Chit Chats and more papers from the 6x6 pad.

The base of my next card was made from the Down on the Farm Barn Cut file available in the Lori Whitlock SVG Shop.  I added this easel piece to the back so that it stands on it's own.

The barn was made from Gingham Linen Petite Prints  I added some doors to the barn, and when you open it up, there is a fun surprise!

The critters are from both the Icon Stickers Sheet and the Mini Icons Stickers.  How adorable is that little fly sticker?  So stinking cute!
My last card showcases a number of the cute Odds and Ends critters (back to my inability to narrow down my choices...)  I had them all say "hi" in their own way using the Chit Chat pieces.  The frame on the front of the card was made using Lawn Fawn's Peek-a-Boo Backdrop Die.

In case you don't speak "farm critter" I added another Chit Chat piece in the inside to translate for you.

Be sure to check the Doodlebug Design Blog over the next few weeks for more Down on the Farm inspiration.  That's it for me today, thanks for stopping by to peek!

Doodlebug Design: Abigail Font Stickers

Hi Everyone!  Today I have some fun cards I created for Doodlebug Design.  I love a good font and the Abigail Font Stickers do not disappoint!  They are a sweet, handwritten font that are fun to mix and match with other Doodlebug Font Stickers and words from the This and That Sticker Sheets!  I used them to make some punny (I can't resist a good pun...) cards, take a peek!

I love making and receiving interactive cards!  For my first card, I created a penny slider easel card using the Rainbow with Clouds cut file from the Fairy Tales Collection and the cute little acetate sun from the Spring Things Odds & Ends Collection..  The cloud paper is from the Spring Things 6x6 Pad and the other papers are from the Petite Prints Collections.

The Abigail Font Stickers in Bumblebee were perfect for my sentiment!  And when you tip the card, the little sun moves along the rainbow!

My next card is a slider card I created using the base of this cut file from Lori Whitlock and papers, stickers and Odds & Ends from the Kitten Smitten Collection.

The Abigail Stickers in Bumblebee coordinated perfectly with the word sticker from the Kitten Smitten This and That Sticker Sheet!  Now for the fun part, when you pull the tab of the card, the kitties get close together!  So cute!!

My last card is a bobble card featuring Papers, Stickers, Odds & Ends and Tiny Heart Shape Sprinkles from the So Punny Collection.

The little tea cup is on a spring and wobbles!  The Abigail stickers in Cupcake were perfect for my sentiment!
Be sure to stop by the blog over the next couple of weeks for more projects featuring the Abigail Font Stickers!  That's it for me today, thanks for stopping by to peek!

Doodlebug Design: Pot O' Gold Cut Files

When you're Irish and going to college in the Boston area, St. Paddy's day is a major holiday event!  I might even have to say it's a college requirement!  My daughter and friends took on this challenge last year, and joined in the campus-wide celebration, and being a child of a scrapbooker, she was kind enough to send me pictures!  So when I saw the new Pot O' Gold Cut Files available in the Lori Whitlock SVG Shop I knew what I was going to scrap!

I used the Shamrocks Cut Files as the main focus of my layout, I re-sized them to meet my needs and made multiples to scatter on my layout. I love how the files are set up so that you can make the stems different from the leaves, it add so much more color!  I used foam tape to pop them up for a bit more dimension,  The papers and embellishments are from a number of Doodlebug Collections including the Gingham Linen Petite PrintsDragon Tails, Sugar and Spice, and of course, Pot O'Gold!

I used the Abigail Font Stickers in Lily White  and Candy Heart Sprinkles to complete my layout!

How would you like to win the entire Pot O' Gold SVG Collection?  Doodlebug is giving followers 3 chances to win, so head on over to the Doodlebug Design Blog, Facebook Page and Instagram, leave a comment  on this post and you could be one of the winners!

That's it for me today, thanks for stopping by to peek!
