Doodlebug Design: So PunnyTreat Bags

When my daughter was in grade school I used to love sending in fun, homemade treats and crafts to her class.  She's a sophomore in college now, so I've had to switch gears!  Instead of class treats, I go for dorm treats!  Her friends always appreciate a little something sweet!  For this Valentine's Day I put together little treat bags featuring the So Punny Collection from Doodlebug Design... take a peek!

How cute are these little bags??  The bag was created using the Lawn Fawn Goodie Bag Die some of the papers from  So Punny.  To finish them off, I added some fun So Punny Odds & Ends and Chit Chat pieces to tags (and of course those ADORABLE Tiny Hearts Sprinkles) and tied them together with some Doodle Twine!  Here are some close-ups of each bag...

I know the girls will probably roll their eyes at the puns...but we all know that they secretly love them! Now to box them up and send them in a care package!  That's it for me today, thanks for stopping by to peek!

Lawn Fawnatics Challenge #15

My friend and I are keeping our resolution to get together and craft at least once a month!  We've been playing along with the Lawn Fawnatics challenges, it's been so much fun!  We worked on Challenge #15 this week, which was to make clever gift packaging.  This is what I created...

I used seven of the Tiny Gift Boxes to make a little Christmas Tree.  I decorated it with stamps and dies from the Trim the Tree set, the star from the Large Stitched Journaling card, Small Stitched Square Stackables, Small Stitched Rectangle Stackables and the kitty Stamp and die from the Meow You Doin' set.

The best part is that all of the little boxes open to hold a little treat!  You could even make an entire Christmas Countdown calendar doing this if you wanted!  That's it for me today, thanks for stopping by to peek!

Doodlebug Design: Easter Parade Goodies

Hi Everyone!  Today I have some adorable treat boxes I created for Doodlebug Design using the new Easter Parade Collection.  I made these for a couple of friends, but they could also be used as place cards for your Easter table!  Take a peek...

The box itself is a Lori Whitlock File I got from the Silhouette store here.  I cut the body of the box from some Doodlebug Cardstock, then created some insets using some of the fun Easter parade papers.  My favorite parts are the Bunny and Friends critters and eggs!!!  They're just so stinkin' cute!  I used some of the word stickers from the This and That Sticker sheet to label the eggs, but you could use some Teensy Type stickers to put names on them to use the boxes as festive place cards!  Here are some close-ups...

Here is the side view, the boxes are filled with some Easter grass and a couple of chocolates!

The tops are just "tied" together with a piece of scrap ribbon.

These went together really quickly and would be an easy project to mass produce for family & friends!  Well, that's all for me today.  Make sure to stop by the Doodlebug Blog and check out all of the Easter Parade inspiration from the design team!  Thanks for stopping by!
